REPORTING FROM MEXICO: Acuna's image as a "nothing ever happens in this border" was shattered Monday morning when the bodies of 3-police officers were found handcuffed dead - execution style with one bullet in their heads.  The interesting part of this news item are the 143 article written about it worldwide.  If you go to google news and type "3 cops killed in Acuna, Mexico" one is impressed on why these murders are reported in Taiwan, Vancouver and San Francisco.

Don't cops get killed in other countries?

Yes but this is different, Acuna borders the United States of America and in the U.S. you do not execute three cops.  These killing are news because it announces to the world that even the quietest borders of Mexico are getting infected with the Zeta/Cartel of Sinaloa bug.

Another thing that jumps out from the Mexican reporting compared to the Rest of the World reporting are the facts.  The Mexican media say very little for reasons known, if you say a lot you die.  The Associated Press went deeper by explaining what is happening in Coahuila:

Whatever the conclusion you may draw from these cop murders, something bigger is going to happen in Acuna and U.S. authorities are trying to make sure it stays on the other side of the Rio Grande.
